Validator Rewards
How validators are rewarded.
Validators will get 5% of validation rewards. Because there is some variance on which validators will have their stakes increased or reduced when users stake or unstake, validator rewards will be independent of their current stake, meaning all increases and decreases to stake amounts will be socialised across all our validators.
Performance metric: We will weight validator rewards per epoch by the following metric:
Staking rewards are based on successful and failed proposals. We have been told this should roughly scale linearly with stake.
