# Fees

Ditto will charge a 10% fee on staking rewards. This is to help build a system where incentives are aligned so that users are provided the best service possible. To begin this fee will be evenly shared between the Ditto treasury and our validators. \

Validators receive this fee for the services that they provide. The Ditto treasury will use this fee to incentivise partner protocols and integrations.

In order to distribute the fee, we will mint additional stAPT every epoch.
